This week we have been in Banff Canada with Jacob's family. We have been having the best time. I have to be honest I kind of thought I would hate this vacation because I am not a mountain girl, but I have learned that maybe I am. I have really enjoyed everything we have done. The views and nature have been so wonderful. This was been such a wonderful week.
The Peaks of the trip are hiking lake Louis, fun family discussions. quad riding, and just spending time with Jacob's siblings they are so much fun.
The Pit of this trip was that we had to bring Lilly so we couldn't just run off and have fun with everyone. Don't get me wrong Lilly has also made some parts of this trip so much fun be when traveling with the Ash's it's better to just not have your kids there.
I never want to forget what a great family I have. I'm so very lucky to marry into such a family that I love. I honestly love every member and think they are all pretty amazing!
Today Julie and I found a porcupine. We thought we were cool for getting this close.
Jacob had a successful and fun fishing trip on lake Minnewanka
My hubby and the littlest Ash having fun and enjoying the beauty at Lake Louise today.
Top of the logging road enjoying the view
Jacob being a good sport and letting his wife drive
Wattawa falls
Shopping in Banff for gifts for the boys. Jacob snapped this picture of me goofing around. Lilly apparently doesn't think I am funny.
Daniel came out for breakfast wearing Linda's wig
This is a wolf walking around our car. It was a little creepy and made me afraid and a little scared to hike.
Daddy and little girl hiking to the waterfalls.
Lilly really loved hiking today. Especially after her nap
Standing at the top of the highest falls. Oops we're kind of standing in front of them.
Huge Thanks to Papa Cec and Julie for watching sweet Lilly while Mommy and Daddy played
Nursing has just become dangerous Lilly officially has a tooth.
Hey Mom all ready to ride ATVs under waterfalls. Let's go!
Daniel and Adam with some of their catches!
Me Zippling over kick horse river. They said if you lay flat the faster you went. I was trying my hardest to go as fast as possible.
It's hard to make those outfits look good but I think we did it. LOL
Just one of the many mud holes we went through. A little mud never hurt anybody!
This is more like a seek and find but today a group went fishing and the whole time bald eagles followed them around. the eagles would fly down and scoop up the fish that they threw back. Look close you'll see the eagle in the trees waiting.
Hiking to the tea house at Lake Louise
All the men up top.
This is what logging does to our forests. it's so sad to see the destruction it does. It made me sad :(
