An anniversary to remember

My dad has been pretty sick lately and can hardly get out of his chair. Today was the 41st wedding anniversary. We knew they would have a hard time celebrating because it feel on a Sunday and my dad is too ill to go out., so my sister Stephanie came up with the best idea. We got the kids dressed up and we put on music fancied up and table and made a yummy meal for them. It was so much fun. My peak was this moment because I know it meant a lot to my parents and I know it will be a moment none of us will forget.

I never want to forget how funny it was watching those kids serve. They tried so hard to be professional, and said real. Eli and Liam tried so hard to help and do that part too. Then later they got a little comfortable and started stealing their food or drink. It was really funny. Also I somehow didn't bring Liam's pants so he served the whole meal dressed, but without pants...he even had his shoes and socks on. It was quit the site.

Today is my parents 41st wedding anniversary. Due to my dads healthy my parents couldn't go out to celebrate. We (the Ash's and the Gilmore's) made them a romantic dinner at home.

This is their service staff all dressed up and looking sharp.

First course Spinach and Artichoke dip with chips and garlic nan for dipping

Main course served by the lovely Aly. Shrimp scampi with tomato basil rice and Parmesan lemon asparagus.

I guess we are not exactly five star when the wait staff is stealing drinks every once and a while

Another clue it wasn't five start is one kiddo didn't have any pants on (oops forgot them at home) he also stole some bread from Papa. Ehtan is on the other side of the table doing his magic trick. We even provided entertainment!

And last but not least dessert. We wanted it to sound fancy so Ethan served it while Jacob described it in Spanish. Hielo de crema con fruta fresca. It was a hit.

After dinner we all sat and watched a Video that the primary made for my dad.
Today was a magical day and moments like this are very precious to my family right now. Even Lilly went to my dad. He whole existence she would never go to him with out crying. Today she smiled and played with him.
